Terms of Service
By using Drof, you agree to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and all applicable intermediary guidelines issued by the Government of India.
1. Intermediary Status
Drof acts as a technical intermediary for end-to-end encrypted file transfers. We do not initiate the transmission, select the receiver, or modify the content of any transmission.
2. User Obligations
- Users shall not host or share information to which they do not have legal rights.
- Transmitting malicious code or viruses designed to limit computer functionality is strictly prohibited.
Conditions of Use
Your access to and use of Drof is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these specific terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age or possess legal parental or guardian consent to use this service. By using the platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Account Responsibility
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials or encryption keys generated.
- Drof cannot recover files if you lose your unique decryption keys, as we follow a zero-knowledge protocol.
3. Service Availability & Modifications
While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service (including storage limits) with or without notice.
4. Prohibited Content
You agree not to use the service for any illegal purposes, including but not limited to the distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), copyrighted material without authorization, or data that violates national security.
Refunds & Cancellations
We maintain a Strict No-Refund Policy for all digital subscriptions.
- No Refunds: Due to the immediate allocation of server resources, payments made for Pro or Business plans are non-refundable.
- Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Features remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
- Digital Delivery: Since Drof provides digital services, "shipping" is not applicable. Access to premium features is granted instantly upon successful payment.
Privacy Policy
Our infrastructure follows a Privacy-by-Design approach, ensuring compliance with the DPDP Act, 2023.
Data Security
- Zero-Knowledge: We do not have access to your decryption keys.
- Retention: Access logs (IP addresses) are maintained for 180 days as per CERT-In cybersecurity directions.
